My pet was registered at this practice for many years and over the past few years the service has changed a lot to worse. Starting from the way a vet is overcharging for tests that should not be even required for a healthy pet, to trying to tell the pet owner additional things are needed when in fact other vets disagree as my pet is perfectly healthy. Not to mention that the prices every year increase hugely (I understand prices raising but not in hundreds in just a year) this is unbelievable. I will be changing the vet in the upcoming weeks as it's really getting worse. And sadly, not all the vets in this practice are that friendly and approachable, puts me right off.

There are not enough words to express how wonderful the care we have received here at Hyndland St has been. Our two Siberian cats, Scout and Ellora, have been patients here for 10 years and each and every visit has been so full of love, gentleness and compassion. Whatever expectations we could’ve had have been far surpassed by the way our wee ones have been looked after! Every single one of the vets and nurses we have seen alike have such a wonderful manner, particularly with our more nervous Ellora (especially nurse Tara!) our cats could not be in better hands!

Hyndland Street Vets saved the day for our boy Lazare! After 4 years in Glasgow we were moving back to the US and Lazare was denied boarding on his flight from Frankfurt to St Louis because his travel documents went missing somewhere en route during his Edinburgh to Frankfurt flight. (Lufthansa!) On a very busy Friday before May Bank Holiday weekend — HSVS produced an original official heath certificate WITHIN HOURS so we could get him on the next flight. He’s with us a safe and sound now so I want to extend my sincere gratitude to HSVS for going above and beyond to help us. You all are THE BEST! Thank you!

Fantastic vet practice with professional, caring, helpful and welcoming staff. We’ve been with the practice for nine years, bringing our various dogs and cats there. We have always received excellent veterinary care from Hyndland Street. Highly recommended.

My beloved Moggy was a stray before I found him. I came to Hyndland vets for a second opinion because the first vet we went to just immediately suggested euthanasia due to the massive fluid build up in his abdomen. Dr. Brodie was so kind and took such good care of Moggy, he really cared and suggested tests to find the cause. He referred us to a specialist to do further scans. Although the end result was not what I had hoped for, I am at peace knowing Dr. Brodie gave Moggy a fighting chance. Thank you Dr. Brodie for all that you did for Moggy. ❤️🌈
